On booking requested luggage holding until checkin time, recieved no answer, on arriving late afternoon was told room booking was cancelled, no reason was given. Swimming pool is closed and locked at 8pm other quest continued to jump fence all night recieved no sleep
The service was excellent, the staff are very well presented, very happy and polite and very eager to please. This is a great hotel with excellent service close to the city
The location turned out to be ideal, we had a really good rate, the pool was lovely, the staff were friendly
The awful car park
week mobile network in the room
location, price & car parking
Shower screen was broken making it hard to get in^& out of shower
The location is great! A short walk to trendy Crown street for dinner and drinks and also to George Street for shopping and a free CBD bus shuttle.
One staff member was friendly while the rest were just ok. I knew more than one particular staff member about how to walk to Circular Quay and I'm from Canada! All staff should tell visitors about the free bus to and from the CBD and should know info to share about the area around the hotel.
To expensive for what it is and have to pay parking also when you are staying there
The staff were awesome - very helpful and friendly. The accom was very comfortable and had everything we needed.
Very very small thing - the toilet is on the 14th floor - although there is one on level 2 near the pool, but you naturally need a pass for this one.
The hotel was really nice, big room, friendly staff and 24 hr room service!
The only thing that bothered my partner and I was the construction work that they were doing in the next room to us at 6am every morning. Other than that I really enjoyed my stay!
Parking inaccessible with a sport car (unless you want to scratch the front spoiler), internet 5 dollars per hour (really?? are all the hotels like that when you get free WIFI at many public places?), air conditioning not working (but everything else does) unless you place the electronic key into its place. Not a problem if you write it somewhere but I had to ask the staff to come and fix it/show me hot to use it.
There was numerous things that my friend and I did not like about this hotel. First being the swimming pool was right outside our hotel room which made it smell of chlorine and cause humidity. It was loud and noisy and we were woken up numerous times whilst we were there. We needed a uk adapter to charge our camera for the night so we called reception only to find out that they don't lend them you have to buy them which didn't impress either of us. The mattress was uncomfortable and the room needed curtains as the light from outside streamed in through the blinds that lit up the room so bright that we were unable to sleep so much so that we had to put towels up over the roller part of the blind so to cover the light. To top our trip off a male staff member from reception was so rude and unhelpful the last night of our stay that infuriated the both of us!!!!! I would never stay here again. We have stayed in many hotels all over the world and I have to say this is by far the worst of them all.
Good location, quiet, clean - the bed was good
Its expensive for what it is - I am looking for something in the Surry Hills area to stay overnight for work - I am still looking. Its been done up but its somehow tacky, the revamp was half-hearted. I don't like a shower in a bath, its dangerous. The paint on the bathroom floor is chipping, as you would expect. The furniture looks cheap.
good size room and efficient staff
poor lighting in room
The hotel staff are not as friendly and helpful as what they claim on the review. Charge me aud $254 for a lousy pool side room. On top of there is 2 incidents of false alarm during my stay. It was a big mistake of my side on booking this hotel. I will never book this hotel again.
location is ok as its near to chiatown and some downtown attractions. prices are reasonable but still 25% higher than I would like to spend here.
pool is inside and they give u cheaper room next to it where chlorine smells are highest. very small screen tv in rooms, its more like an inn than a hotel converted into cheap lightening and decot to appear Boutique hotel. They charge you $200 as damage deposit which is unheard of and doesnot go with the class of the hotel. They tell you about 50 rules regulations warnings at time of checkin and also charge you $200 which they say might not come back before a month into your credit card. Indian/Chinese staff is polite and nice, Ausssie staff are cold and silent. Overall not to go there again as by paying about $50 more you can get a quality branded hotel in downtown easily.
